At the invitation of, and in collaboration with, the Łaźnia Centre for Contemporary Art, Bogna Burska created the film Colours of Water. Playfully invoking the formula of found footage horror – a genre in which footage shot for a film pretends to be authentic material that has been discovered – the artist confronts existential helplessness. The inspiration came from the forms of Instagram stories, one-person video reports and video selfies, as well as incidental phone recordings. The video consists of dreams recounted by the artist and her friend Pola Tyszowiecka, Greenlandic myths, and short interjected phrases. Klara Bielawka appears in the film.
